L’enfer à Croix-Rouge
L’enfer à Croix Rouge is a whole cultural event, from museography to urban signage, alternative communication and graphic design, around a major Bibliothèque nationale de France exhibition release in Paris : L’enfer,
which is an arbitrary librarian classification – censorship – that doomed books to be hidden from the readers, for centuries, until 2008 when the BnF opened the Box for this exhibition.
The event took place in the front of one of the BnF’s towers and inside a ghost – abandoned – metro station : Croix-Rouge (red cross), during the exhibition .
Contracting authority : BnF / Hosting partner : RATP / Museography : NC agency / Graphic design : C-album agency / Event conception and realisation : C-album, Gérald Karlikow and Martin Gautron.
